On the occasion of Christmas 2021, leaders of Can Tho city visited and offered Christmas wishes to religious facilities in the area on December 21 and 22.

The provincial leaders paid a visit and extended their best wishes to Can Tho Diocese, representative of Vietnamese Protestants (Southern) in Can Tho city, City’s Catholic Solidarity Committee, Dioceses in Can Tho, Vinh Thanh and Vinh An and Bishops, who are President and Vice President of City’s Catholic Solidarity Committee.

At every visiting place, the delegation sent the best wishes and a peaceful, joyful, and happy Christmas season to the Bishops, Priests, Pastors, Catholics, and Protestants in the city. Also, the delegation informed them about the city’s socio-economic situation in 2021 and recognized the important contributions of dignitaries, Catholics, and Protestants in the city. In co-operation with all other people of the nation, the Bishops, Priests, and Pastors have leaded Catholics and Protestants to well implement the guidelines of the Party, policies, and laws of the State, actively work, study, and develop the economy, effectively participate in campaigns, patriotic emulation movements, social and volunteer activities, contributing to the development of the city. Especially, they accompanied all other people in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic to ensure people’s health and lives.
