The Standing Committee of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a Conference on social criticism to review draft Resolutions of the City People's Council

The Standing Committee of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has just held a Conference to comment and evaluate the draft Resolutions of the City People's Council. Mr. Nguyen Trung Nhan, Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee attended and chaired the Conference.

 

Mr. Nguyen Trung Nhan, Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee delivered the opening speech of the Conference.

At the Conference, delegates were informed the Draft Resolution on promulgating principles, criteria and norms for the allocation of recurrent expenditure estimates of local budgets in 2022; Draft Resolution on not collecting tuition fees for the second semester of the academic year 2021 - 2022; Draft Resolution on tuition fee support for the 2021 - 2022 school year for preschool children, high school students at non-public educational institutions and children at public preschool educational institutions; Draft Resolution on specifying the content and expenditure levels for organizing exams, contests and competitions in the field of education and training in Can Tho city.

The Drafts expected to be submitted to the City People’s Council this time basically ensure the necessity and feasibility. In addition, these Drafts are consistent with the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State; and the current situation of the city.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Nhan, Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the social criticisms of the delegates. At the same time, the social criticism document will be sent to the Department of Finance and the Department of Education and Training of the city with appropriate adjustments. When promulgated, the Resolutions of the City People's Council must ensure compliance with the law, associate with social life, and serve the needs and interests of the People.
