Certificates of Merit presented to participants in COVID-19 prevention and control in Ho Chi Minh City

January 7 AM_ The delegation from Ho Chi Minh City led by Mr. Mai Ba Hung, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Culture and Sports, visited and awarded Certificates of Merit to units participating in the COVID-19 prevention and control in Ho Chi Minh City.  Ms. Nguyen Thuy Hang, Vice Chairwoman of VFF Committee of Can Tho City, attended the event. 

The delegation from Ho Chi Minh City awarded Certificates of Merit to units participating in the COVID-19 prevention and control in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Hung, on behalf of the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, expressed his gratitude to the medical staff, doctors, and volunteers from the 9th Military Region, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP), Can Tho City, for their recent participation and support in the COVID-19 prevention and control in Ho Chi Minh City.

He stated that current indexes of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City tended to decrease significantly; the city implemented a strategy to protect high-risk people, helping in reducing such indexes, thereby enabling its economy to recover.

Mr. Hung presented Certificates of Merit and letters of commendation to individuals and units from the 9th Military Region Command, 121 Military Hospital 121, Department of Logistics, 226th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, 29th Signal Brigade; 308th Battalion, 3rd Regiment, 330th Division, CTUMP and Can Tho City Youth Union for their outstanding contribution to the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control.
