The Can Tho Union of Friendship Organizations (UFO), in collaboration with Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF/Germany) and Can Tho University, hosted an international conference on “Investment and development for agricultural markets and rural tourism in the Mekong Delta” on September 28th, 2022 in Can Tho City.

The conference aims to bridge the gap between scientists and businesses by bringing them together to share experiences, research findings, and practical solutions for attracting investment and development for agricultural markets and rural tourism in the Mekong Delta, especially taking advantages of the local inherent strengths; at the same time, providing opportunities for businesses in Can Tho City and those in Germany to learn and discuss the potential for investment cooperation, strengthen trade connections, and collaborate in developing high-tech agriculture.

This event also marked the start of cooperation activities between Can Tho City UFO, the FNF, and Can Tho University, with the goal of laying the groundwork for mutual understanding among parties in implementing cooperation activities to improve future capacity to adapt to climate change.
