August 5, Hanoi_ The VFF Central Committee held an online conference to launch the Fanpage of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF Fanpage) chaired by Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, Vice Chairman of the VFF Central Committee.

Overview of the online conference at Can Tho City Bridge broadcasting

Mr. Nguyen Trung Nhan, Chairman of Can Tho City Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), and Mr. Nguyen Thuy Hang, Vice Chairman of the City FFC, were present and chairing at Can Tho City Bridge broadcasting, along with 170 delegates as committee representatives operating and managing “VFF Fanpage" of districts, communes, wards, and towns at 7 city bridge broadcasting points.

Mr. Phung Khanh Tai, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of VFF, stated at the Conference's opening that he has been carrying out the direction of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of VFF since November 2021 on establishing VFF Fanpage and promoting propaganda about the VFF activities at all levels on social networks. The VFFs at all levels have actively coordinated with the Youth Union to establish and manage the Fanpage well.

Currently, 63/63 provinces and cities have established and run provincial-level fanpages; 77.8% of them have set up district-level VFF Fanpages; and 54.5% of them have commune-level ones.

Initially, the construction, management, and operation of the VFF Fanpage attracted the attention of the Front system at all levels due to its positive changes, effectively serving the propaganda, gathering and reporting information about local life... This positive sign indicates a shift in the VFF's propaganda and mobilisation at all levels.

According to Mr. Tai, to continue implementing synchronously and improving the operational efficiency of VFF Fanpage, the Propaganda Department of the VFF Central Committee is the focal point to coordinate with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to continue implementing and completing the work to complete the establishment of Fanpage management system; to promulgate the Regulation on information and propaganda in page, Manual on VFF Fanpage administration and operation, and participate in its operation immediately after this Conference. Simultaneously, 100% of provincial and city VFF issued Guidelines instructing district VFF to implement all these activities.

"Communication via VFF Fanpage will help to connect and spread the results and images of the VFF's activities throughout the system and to people at home and abroad, contributing to the reformation in its content, methods, and operational efficiency at all levels" emphasised Vice Chairman of VFF’s Central Committee.
