Support for the COVID-19 prevention and control
Japan and Republic of Korea donate medical supplies to Can Tho City
On the afternoon of January 4, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Can Tho City held the Handover Ceremony of Medical Supplies for COVID-19 Prevention and Control donated by Jeollanamdo Province, Republic of Korea (RoK) and Okayama City, Japan.
City leaders receive offered medical equipment and supplies to support Can Tho city in fighting against the epidemic
Through the advocacy and connection of the Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee Tran Viet Truong, on the morning of December 12, the Saigon Lovers group presented Siemens, one of the latest portable bedside X-ray machines to Can Tho General Hospital. In addition, the group also donated many specialized masks and medical supplies to support the hospital in treating severe and critical COVID-19 patients.
